Coach Campbell was an inspiration to all of us that ran for him or had him for class. During that difficult time he inspired us to be a positive change, not just for our teammates but for those we'd meet in the future. We all have stories we could tell and mine was the end of a race in Maple Shade. I skunked another teammate (my brother) out of first place (it was a JV race). I felt good for

My condolences to the family. Mr. Campbell was good man and track coach, one that I have always remembered through the years. I'll always remember his humor and life lessons.

Time rolls by, people pass through your life without a trace. Coach Campbell left an indelible imprint on my character that helped me to keep moving forward through life's challenges. Outside of my father no one taught me more about what it means to be a man than Gene Campbell. My condolences to his family for your loss now, and the sacrifices you made in the past when he spent so much time away from you being a coach and mentor. To everyone who had the privilege to run cross country for Coach Campbell, 1,2,3,WOLVERINES!!!!

My sympathies to the family and friends of Mr Campbell. I had him for history in HS and he was one of my favorite teachers. He would walk around the classroom a bit and made the history come alive through stories instead of just trying to teach dates and facts. I loved this about him and always found him to be interesting. He had a quiet sense of strength and honor, too.

My condolences and prayers for Mr. Campbell's family. I was coached by him in cross country, winter track and track from 1969-73, and I also saw him over the summers at Pheasant Run Swim Club. He was a great teacher of the running sports and a tremendous motivator. He taught us how to work hard AND have fun. many of our lives were richer for having known him.
