Lillian E. Rimato

RIMATO, LILLIAN E., 89, of Strathmere, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2012. Born in Philadelphia to the late George and Lillian Cook, she later worked for the Franklin Mint before moving to the Jersey shore. Along with the beach, she loved cats and dogs, and the music of Robert Hazard.

Lillian is survived by her loving husband, Umberto; daughters Gloria (William) Furst, Pamela (Robert) Tirone, and daughter-in-law Susan Selander-Hazard-Rimato; brothers: George, Herbert, Vaughn, John, and Richard; sisters: Margaret, Maryann, and Carol; and grandchildren: Maria, Corrina, Janine, Melani, Remington, and Rex. She was predeceased by her loving son Robert Hazard Rimato, her brother Albert, and her sister Jeanne.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 4308 Landis Ave., Sea Isle City, NJ 08243. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Interment is private. Donations may be made in Lillian's name to the Humane Society of Ocean City, P.O. Box 1254, Ocean City, NJ 08226.
