Condolence & Memory Journal

Growing up in Stone Harbor, Cape May County, Sammy's name was like gold. Mention his name, and everyone knew who he was. He and Joyce were great friends to my parents, and we kids had the utmost respect for him. Especially my brothers and their friends LOL, mention Sammy and you could pretty much depend on him to come to the rescue. A great guy who really wanted the kids to grow up straight, he was a very important piece of our lives. It was all about respect. He just had a way of commanding it without demanding it. So rare...another gem gone to the stars, will be looking for that new one up there...

To the Family of Goody AKA 1504

Very sorry to hear of Sam's passing. I served with him at Port Norris several times. He was a straight shooter and ALWAYS a true gentleman. Stay strong .

Goody, I will miss you so much but I know we will see each other in Heaven. I'll cherish the memories of our talks, your beautiful smile and your amazing artwork. You are with Joyce now and I know you are at peace.
To the family... Pop would be unhappy if you are sad. He loved each and every one of you in a very special way. Remember always that he was happy right up to the end! He never once complained. EVER! He is with Freddy too. He's grateful to you Laurie for taking care of the cats and especially the you placed his precious Freddie with him! I called him the crazy cat man! In closing, I hope I get to see you all in the future.

Love, peace and light be with each of you... In deepest sympathy and love, Linda

John, I'm very sorry to hear about the passing of your father. We had a chat about your father this past year at one of the live music events. You're fortunate to have had so much time together. I'm confident that the fond memories and support from your family and friends will continue to comfort you during this difficult time.
