CARO, ARIEL JEAN, 15, of Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018 after a four and a half year battle with atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumor (ATRT). Born in Winston Salem, NC, she moved here five years ago and attended Gethsemane Baptist Church in Woodbine. A student at Middle Township Public Schools, she loved school and running cross country. She also enjoyed dancing, singing, reading, playing guitar, and playing games with her friends.

Ariel is survived by her mother, Sharon Carr; her father, Omar Caro; her brother, Alex Soto; her grandmother, Carmen Caro; her grandfather, Arnold Carr; her dear friends, Gary and Diane Rhile, Staretta Smith, and Jeff, Denise, and Emily Mawhinney; and her aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ, where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Seaside Cemetery, Palermo. Memorial donations may be made to the Ariel Caro Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Middle Township Board of Education, 216 South Main Street, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210 or Wigs and Wishes, 304 Hurffville Cross Keys Road, Sewell, NJ 08080.
