CARROLL, ELDORA, 92, of Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018. Born in Cape May Court House, NJ to the late Rufus Callaway, Sr. and Marybelle Bunting Callaway, she was a lifetime resident here. She worked at Crest Haven Nursing Home.

Mrs. Carroll was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church, where she was a Deaconess, Sunday School teacher, and member of the Senior Chorus. She was also a member of the Magnolia Garden Club, the National Association of Colored Women's Club, Inc., the National Home Gardening Club, the We Women's Club, and AARP of Cape May Court House.

Mrs. Carroll enjoyed singing and sang in the Stockton University Chorus under the direction of Prof. Beverly Vaughn. She also enjoyed dancing, gardening, and doing arts and crafts such as knitting and quilting at VoTech.

Mrs. Carroll is survived by her children, Jewel A. Cheeks, Patricia A. Carroll, and Clifford A. Carroll, Jr.; her sisters, Catherine Adams, Jeanette Callaway, and Marybelle Hall; her three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford A. Carroll, Sr.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Olive Baptist Church, 46 East Atlantic Avenue, Cape May Court House, where viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be in Mount Olive Cemetery, Swainton.
