CALLAHAN, ELIZABETH "BETTY" J. (nee Kane), 92, of Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018 with her family by her side. Born in Philadelphia to the late William and Anna (nee O'Leary) Kane, she moved to Wildwood in 1970 before moving to Cape May Court House in 1977. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church.

Betty enjoyed listening to country music. She loved traveling especially to Rhode Island and collecting Department 56. Her greatest love was for her family.

Betty is survived by her companion of close to 50 years, Tom Jakobsen; her children, Regina "Jean" (Michael) Maher, Fran (Karin) Callahan, Joe (Wendy) Callahan, Stephen Callahan, and Ann Callahan (Jim McKeaney); her 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Francis Callahan; her daughter Elizabeth Hall; her granddaughter, Sgt. Meggan Lee Callahan; and her siblings, Agnes, Anna, William, Bernard, Francis, Robert, James, and John Joseph.

Memorial Mass will be said on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 35 East Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House and on Wednesday, April 4 from 9:00 to 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Angels Church. Interment will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1801 Route 9 North, Swainton, NJ 08210.
