BUECHELE, EUGENE W. SR., 80, of Avalon Manor, NJ, beloved husband of Peggy Buechele, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018. Gene was born at home in West Philadelphia. He was a graduate of St. Cyril Elementary School, West Catholic High School, and St. Joseph College. Gene worked at Boeing Helicopters for 41 years. He was an avid crabber, clammer and fisherman and loved the ocean, bay and his garden.

In addition to his wife, Gene is sadly missed by his brother, Walter E. Buechele, Jr.; daughters, Debby (John) O'Donnell and Sue (Rich) Harpe; sons, Gene (Kim) Buechele, Bob (Carleen) Buechele, Bill (Ann) Buechele and Mike (Sean) Buechele; grandchildren, Katie, Shannon, Mike O'Donnell, Sean and Brittney Buechele, Jacqueline and Ryan Harpe, Kyle, Justin and Brian Buechele, Hailey, Patrick, Molly, Connor and Liam Buechele.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 4:00 pm at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where viewing will begin at 2:00 pm. Interment will be private. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131 or to the Wetlands Institute, 1075 Stone Harbor Boulevard, Stone Harbor, NJ 08247. The family wishes to extend our heartfelt appreciation for the love and care of Gene by the staff of Crest Haven Nursing Home.
