HOLLY, GEORGE, 77, of Seaville, NJ, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015. He was born in Middle Township to the late George and Ella Runnels Holly. He worked for the State of New Jersey Division of Pensions for 18 years.
George was an avid movie and theater buff. He enjoyed gardening and loved to talk politics. Most of all, George was a humanitarian who always looked out for people and even animals less fortunate.
George is survived by his best friend, Ed Nice; his sister, Bettyann Stec; and several nieces and nephews and their children. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Holly, Sr.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where viewing will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Calvary Baptist Cemetery, Ocean View. Donations in George's memory may be made to the ASPCA, 424 East 92nd St, New York, NY 10128.
