James "Jamie" Mallia passed away on March 4, 2018.

Jamie is survived by his parents Mark Mallia & Lynda Fraizer, his sister Christi (Scott) Haizlip and grandmother Anne (Gerald) Gewant. Jamie was also blessed with many loving aunts, uncles and cousins who meant so much to him.

Born December 19, 1993, he graduated from Middle Township High School where he was in the Panthers Marching Band and on the Mock Trial Team. He graduated from Stockton University where he was a founding member of the Iota-Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Pi. He was an intern at John L. Rudisill and then did marketing at FantaSea Resorts in Atlantic City. Most recently he found a home at Vorsight in Arlington, VA where he was a business development associate. He loved his team, the work and the challenges it presented.

Jamie cherished his family and never missed an opportunity to be with them. He loved playing drums and guitar, listening to music, attending concerts, reading and sharing his life with his cousins and friends. Jamie had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. His smile could light up your life and his hugs could heal your heart.

To all that have given their love and support to both Jamie and his family, we thank you.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you write a cherished memory of Jamie and leave it with us. The family also asks that you educate yourself and others about addiction. Help stop the shame and stigma of addiction. Our son, like all the others suffering from this disease, was so much more than his addiction.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House with the funeral service starting at 2:00 pm. A Celebration of Jamie's Life will immediately follow at Kix McNutley's, 63rd Street between Landis and Central Avenues in Sea Isle City.
