KENNETH JOSEPH RUE, 57, of Newfield, NJ, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016 surrounded by his family. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he moved to Newfield in 1988 from Philadelphia.
Kenn was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Parish Nativity Church in Franklinville. He enjoyed softball, fishing, and crabbing. He loved going to the beach. He was a big Eagles and Flyers fan and was an animal lover. His greatest enjoyment came from the time spent with his family.
Kenn is survived by his wife of 25 years, Mary Alvarado; his children, Theresa Rue and Ryan Rue; his parents, William and Frances Rue; his sister, Debra A. Rue; his brother, William J. Rue; and his extended family and friends.
A viewing will held on Monday, December 5, 2016 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Parish, Nativity Church, 2677 Delsea Drive, Franklinville with the Funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Elmer, NJ. Donations in Kenn's memory may be made to the Salem County Humane Society, P. O. Box 214, Carney's Point, NJ 08069.
