FRIEL, LAWRENCE F., 86, of Sea Isle City, NJ, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Frank and Florence Coraluzzi Friel, he moved here 45 years ago from Glenside, PA. A former City of Philadelphia Police Officer, he was a member of St. Joseph Church in Sea Isle City. He enjoyed walking and biking.

Larry is survived by his wife, Betty; his daughters, Carol Cara and Barbara Zelmanoff; his step son, James Ibbotson; his step children, Michael Schiavello, Daniel Schiavello, Dominic Schiavello, Donna Coffman, and Mary Sue Carulli; his sisters, Ann Sanford, Florence Cosentino, and Marie Stoner; his brother, Frank Friel; his six grandchildren and nine step grandchildren; his seven great grandchildren and four step great grandchildren; and his nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be said on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 4308 Landis Avenue, Sea Isle City, where viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Goshen. Donations in Larry's memory may be made to the St. Joseph Church Building Fund, 126 44th Street, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243.
