Army Emblem

AMEDICK, PAUL F., 73, of Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away on November 26, 2016 at home surrounded by family.

Paul was born on February 2, 1943 in Pittsburgh, PA to Francis J. Amedick and Olive Miller Amedick. He attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he was a proud member of the First Battalion 5th Regiment, Pershing Rifles. Upon graduation he joined the Army. Paul received a Bronze Star for his service in Vietnam. Upon discharge from the Army, he relocated permanently to Southern New Jersey.

Paul spent 20 years in corporate public relations at RCA in Cherry Hill. He retired early and turned to offering his services as an accomplished Handyman. He could fix just about anything and loved to work with his hands. When he moved to Cape May Court House in 1997, he felt as though he was on a permanent vacation. He loved the beach and even spent some time bird watching. Paul is a long standing member of The Bayshore Sportsman's Club in the Villas where he enjoyed and frequently won their Sunday matches. He treasured the many friendships created at the Range.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Deborah; his children, Michael Amedick (Kelly), Cindy Palladino (Mike) and Karin Gosselin; his grandchildren: Jordan, Hannah, Noah, Andrew, Elizabeth, Lauren, Michael, Eric, Sara and David; his sister: Lauranne Caimi; his sister-in-law: Maryellen Hains; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House with his funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans Cemetery.
