Paul Joseph Farmer, 69, of Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018. He was born in Salem, MA to the late Joseph Charles and the late Ann Marie (née Gormley) Farmer. Paul was the owner/executive producer of Lockup USA, the country's leading producer of video training programs for correctional professionals. After graduating from the University of Detroit in 1970 with a degree in Journalism, Paul returned to Syracuse where he joined the staff of the Syracuse New Times as an investigative reporter and photographer. He then joined the staff of WUTR-TV (Utica) as an on air reporter and weekend anchor. He subsequently worked in the same capacity at WIXT-TV (channel 9 in Syracuse). He relocated to St. Louis where he worked on air at KMOV-TV and KTVI-TV before founding Lockup USA. Paul married Melissa Holroyd in 1993 and they relocated to Wallingford, PA and then later to Wildwood Crest, NJ. They moved to Cape May Court House, NJ in 2015. Paul was an avid collector of 1950's and 60's memorabilia. He also possessed an encyclopedic knowledge of the classic cars from that time. Paul was a lifetime fan of the Boston Red Sox and he never lost faith in them.

Paul is survived by his wife of 25 years Melissa Holroyd; their children Melissa Novoa, Alexander Holroyd-Hillemeyer, and Joseph Farmer; his grandchildren Olivia, Alexander, Evelyn, Calvin and Audrey. Paul is survived by his siblings Edd Farmer, Kevin Farmer, Joseph Farmer, Nancy Harrison and Theresa Humez. Other survivors include aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.

A Memorial service for family and friends will be held at a later date.
