Stained Glass Emblem

Kataryniak, Raymond Edward, 81 – of Cape May Court House, NJ made his journey to heaven on March 1, 2017, the first day of Lent, surrounded by his loving family. He is cherished by his soulmate, Marie – the love of his life for 58 years; his son, Raymond Jr. of New Brunswick; his daughter, Jean Marie Lobby of Hackettstown, NJ; his son-in-law Harry; and two beautiful grandchildren: Jenna and Harry.

Raymond was born in Jersey City and enjoyed living in Piscataway, NJ before retiring to Cape May Court House where he and Marie have been surrounded by the most wonderful community of friends. Ray was an active member of Our Lady of The Angels Parish in Cape May Court House, where his served as an usher and Eucharistic minister. He was also a proud member of the Fourth Degree with his local Knights of Columbus for many years. To know Ray is to truly love Ray – a beautiful, selfless man who would do anything for anyone-he was always there for his family and friends.

Ray loved taking photographs, he loved his garden, and his hearty burgundy, but most of all loved and cherished his family and friends…friends who truly did become part of his family.

Funeral Mass will be Monday, March 6, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of The Angels Church, 35 East Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ray's name to Our Lady of The Angels Church, Knights of Columbus, or Cape Regional Medical Center.
