MILES, RICHARD E., age 81, of Woodbine, NJ, died on Monday, June 26, 2017, at his home. He was born in Norristown, Pa. the son of the late Joseph D. and Mary Bangert Miles. He had been a resident here since 1994. He was a retired electrician, employed by IBEW Local 380 of Collegeville, Pa. Richard was a member of St. Casimir's Church where he served as trustee and altar server. He was a member of the Belleplain Volunteer Fire Company and the Norristown Volunteer Fire Company. He was the former owner of the CC&M Skating Rink in Line Lexington, Pa. He served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1960. He is survived by his wife, Bernadette nee Bortz; a son, Richard J. and wife, Roseann; a daughter, Kathleen Putnick and husband, Frank; a brother, John W.; a sister, Joyce Deever and husband, William; eight grandchildren: Richard Edward and wife, Jesse, Chelsea Rae, Chase, Richard Joseph and wife, Stacey, Maria and companion, Eric and Teresa Wyttig and husband, Tom, Daniel Francis Putnick and Molly Elizabeth Putnick; and thirteen great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph. The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2017, at St. Casimir's Church, 304 Clay Street, Woodbine, NJ at 11:00 a.m. where a viewing will be held from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. Entombment will be at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler, Pa. Casual attire is welcomed.
