After he graduated from Middle Township High School, Seg pursued a career in the art of painting and worked for Reggie Anderson. Later, he worked as a housekeeper for the Woodbine Developmental Center in Woodbine, NJ, before becoming unable to work due to his illness.
Seg was a very gentle but energetic soul. He had a loving and generous heart and was always willing to help others. He loved his family and adored his five children.
