HORNEY, ALVIN ROY JR., 58, of Dennisville, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2012. He was born at the Bainbridge Naval Hospital in Maryland. He served in the Navy and was a Senior Corrections Officer at Bayside State Prison.
Alvin is survived by his wife Mae F. Horney; his mother Dolores Horney; his brothers Steven and Richard Horney; and Cody the lab. Funeral services will be private and the family requests that their privacy be respected at this time. Memorial donations may be made to the Cape May County Animal Shelter, DN 501B, 4 Moore Road, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
