KEUN JR., MIKE, 59, of Green Creek, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2012 at Cooper University Hospital. He was born in Camden and moved to Green Creek over 40 years ago. He was a lieutenant in the Green Creek Fire Company and has been a member for 40 years. He enjoyed fishing and loved Wawa coffee. He could be seen at Wawa in his black Ford Ranger with the fishing poles on top and the talking deer in the passenger seat. During his illness the last two years, he never complained and was never in a bad mood. His concern was for others, not himself.
Mike is survived by his children, Shannon (Ted) Farina, Samantha Keun, and Michael Keun, III and their mother, Vicki Keun; his mother, Marion Ivins; his sister, Kathy Morrison; his step sister, Alyce Allenbach, Linda Marindino, and Suzi Harrison; and his grandchildren, Kayla and Teddy III. He was preceded in death by his father, Gustaf Michael Keun, Sr. and his step sister, Terry Vincent.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 17 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Cold Spring Presbyterian Cemetery. Donations in Mike's memory may be made to the New Jersey State Firemen's Association, 1700 Galloping Hill Road, Kenilworth, NJ 07033-1303 or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202.
