Wilsey, Richard Thomas, age 86 years, of Cape May Court House, died on Friday, August 3, 2012 at his home. Born in North Wildwood, NJ to the late Adolph Cornelius Wilsey & Christina Louella Geisen, he was raised in Sea Isle City.

He was an office manager for Avalon Real Estate and retired in 2002 after 35 yrs of service, was a Navy Veteran of WW II, a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cape May Court House, the American Legion of Stone Harbor, VFW post of Sea Isle City, the Destroyer Escort Sailors Assoc. and was Past President of Avalon Chamber of Commerce.

He is survived by his wife Carol "Jean" (nee Berlinger) Wilsey, his two daughters; Sandra and her husband Bradford Nash of Delmont, NJ & Karen and her husband Richard Sweeten of Rio Grande, his sister Ruth and her husband Richard De Haven of Beasley's Point, his brother George Wilsey of Melborn, FL, his four grand daughters; Diane, Kelly, Erica & Rachel, his grandson Richard also survived by many nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death also by his four brothers; John, William, Alfred & John Paul, two sisters; Mary German & Nora Clark and grand daughter Jessica.

Funeral service 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 9, 2012 at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Ave., Cape May Court House where relatives and friends may call after 9:00 AM. Interment Seaville Methodist Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to: Destroyer Escort Historical Museum, (USS SLATER DE 766), PO Box 1926, Albany, NY 12201-1926.
